Test first, then decide
Plenty of batteries brought to us for replacement do not need replacing. They need charging, a clean terminal, or a fault in the charging system fixed. Testing takes a few minutes and costs you nothing, and it is the difference between solving the problem and postponing it.
A proper check has three parts: resting voltage, which shows state of charge; a load test, which shows whether the battery can actually deliver current; and charging voltage measured at the terminals with the engine or inverter running, which shows whether the battery is being refilled properly. Only the combination tells you what is really going on.

Old battery exchange
Every lead-acid battery has scrap value, and that value belongs to you, not to the shop. When you buy from us we weigh the old battery, tell you what it is worth and deduct it from the price of the new one before you pay. You see the arithmetic. Old batteries we take in are passed to authorised recyclers rather than dumped, which is both the legal route and the sensible one.
If you have an old battery and no immediate plan to buy, you can still bring it in and we will value it.
Getting more years out of the battery you have
For cars in Noida, the single biggest factor is drive length. A car used only for short hops around the sectors never fully recharges; an occasional longer run makes a real difference. Keep the terminals clean and tight, and if the car is going to stand unused for weeks, arrange a top-up charge rather than letting it sit flat.

Scrap value depends on the type and weight of the battery and the prevailing rate. We weigh it and tell you the figure before you decide, and it is deducted from the new battery price.
If the battery is healthy but flat, yes. Charging support is part of what we do, and it is the right answer when a car has simply stood too long or a light was left on overnight.
Once a year is sensible, and before summer especially. If the car is more than three years old, or you are doing mostly short trips, checking twice a year is worth the few minutes.
Distilled water only. Tap water contains minerals that damage the plates. Top up to the indicated level, never above it, and only after the battery has been charged.
Yes. Corrosion on the posts creates resistance that mimics a failing battery. Cleaning and greasing the terminals is a routine part of any check we do.
