How Does a Vehicle Quick Start Service Work?

The call

We ask three things: where the vehicle is, what happens when you turn the key, and how old the battery is if you know. Those answers decide what goes on the van. A rapid click with dim lights suggests a flat battery and we bring stock in your fitment. A single clunk with strong lights suggests the starter, and a replacement battery would not have helped.

Arriving at the vehicle

The equipment is portable, which matters in Noida because so many of these calls come from tower basements where a tow truck cannot reach. We connect properly, observing polarity and using an appropriate earth point rather than clamping onto the battery's negative post, and start the vehicle.

The part that actually matters

• A load test on the battery once the engine is running
• Charging voltage measured at the terminals to check the alternator
• Terminals and earth strap checked for corrosion or looseness
• A check for obvious parasitic drain if the battery keeps going flat

The three possible outcomes

The battery is fine. Something drained it — interior light, boot light, an accessory, or the car simply standing too long. You get advice, not an invoice for a battery you do not need.

The battery is finished. We quote the replacement, weigh your old battery for exchange, and in most cases fit it in the same visit from van stock.

The charging system is at fault. A new battery will not fix this, and we will say so rather than selling you one that will be flat again next week.
